OCTOBER 22nd / TEHCHING HSIEH - ARTIST TALK - 7 PM
Renowned performance artist Tehching Hsieh talks about his One Year Performances. A book signing of his monograph Out of Now (2009) will follow the talk. Out of Now will be sold for the special event price of $ 40.00. Cash only.

OCTOBER 29th / SEVEN EASY PIECES BY MARINA ABRAMOVIC - A FILM BY BABETTE MANGOLTE (2007)
TWO PROJECTIONS 7 PM, 9 PM
This powerful film documents seven performance works from the 60's and 70's reenacted by Marina Abramovic for seven hours each, over the course of seven consecutive days, in November 2005 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. 93 minutes.

NOVEMBER 5th / KELLY MARK - 'ALL IN A DAY'S WORK'
9 AM - 5 PM PERFORMANCE - 7 PM MEET THE ARTIST
Canadian artist Kelly Mark is invited by DHC/ART to create an 8-hour Artist talk and durational performance inspired by the theme 'time for survival' and related to her previous time and labour-based works. The public and student groups are welcome to come to the performance anytime throughout the day and to come to meet the artist.
The artist will be given in English - Programmed by James Prior.
NOVEMBER 12th / ZAB MABOUNGOU - COMPAGNIE DANSE NYATA NYATA
DANCE PERFORMANCE -7 PM
'As we count our actions, time unties them.'
Zab Maboungou, a leading proponent of Contemporary African dance in Canada, gives a solo performance of her work, Countdown (Décompte). The body is constantly solicited and challenged in a game of persistance and transformation.

NOVEMBER 19th / GUIDO VAN DER WERVE
ARTIST TALK AND FILM SCREENING - 7 PM
Dutch artist, Guido van der Werve talks about his works in the exhibition Living Time and presents the Canadian premiere of his new film nummer twalf (number twelve) variations on a theme. The king's gambit accepted, the number of stars in the sky and why a piano can't be tuned, or waiting for an earthquake (2009). 40 minutes.
