Art Pop + DHC/ART (Presented as part of the Pop MTL Festival)
September 29 – October 3 / 1 PM to 6 PM
In collaboration with Art POP and Palimpsest Magazine, DHC/ART will host a 5-day residency where participants including Jacob Wren, Edmonton’s poet laureate Rollie Pemberton and visual artist Jacqueline Lachance will produce a daily broadsheet publication responding to festival goings-on and inspired by Holzeresque aphorisms created through ADDRESS, the DHC/ART art education project. Visitors are welcome to observe the creation of the publication, further reflecting Holzer’s interest in utilizing text to bring forth a non-textual aesthetic experience. This event is presented as part of the POP Montreal Festival.
